I was hunting the channels on Astro, last night and i saw one advertisement about a talk show called “alarm” on Astro Vaanavil [channel 201]. This show talks about social problems faced by our community today and how to prevent it from happening because prevention is better than cure. Each week, there will be a topic discussed among the program host and viewers. This week topic is about “Teenage Love”. I am not sure about the topic cause while watching the tv add, i almost half sleep.
The show will be aired on every Friday at 10.30pm. Don’t forget to watch them !!!

First of all i woould like to convey my heartiest congratulation to Dr.Rajamani, the producer, Directors, the host of Alaram. If you want to know the truth i used to hate this program like no body bussiness. But it was so pleasing to see the 2nd Alaram production with tremendous change of face. I must mentioned that the director and producer with all the supporting staff of the program doing a wonderful job. I will say this program is a gift to our troubled community especially the youngsters.
The topics are timely and very important to be mentioned to give the awareness for both parents and young children.
I must also congratulated the team for selecting Dr.Annathurai as the host. I admired his way of handling situation and the way he conered high rank people in his previous show called Nalai namthe. So it is so pleasing to see him leading the show with very high quality but at the same time with very entertaining way.He is already giving a new dimention for talk shows in Malaysia, i can say that for sure.
Dr.Rajamani, I know people have said too many negative things about you because you are a India Citizen and have no heart for Malaysian indians wellfares. But with this kind of ‘shows’ , it shows you are man with the heart, also considering the well being of the malaysian youth.
I have a suggestion here , i believe its a valid point and i trully hope you will consider this with the current situation of the malaysian youth.
1. You are showing the alaram talk show when Arasi is in another channel. The mothers and elderly people who supposed to get the message from the alaram show,a huge number missing out the opportunity. Here Vanavil actually minimising the parents chance to get the strong message.Could you kindly change the timing of the Alaram?
2. Please bring in more qualified person or prominent figure as the Panel, so that the message is well taken.
3. Also talk about issues like Child abuse among young parents, why youngsters shying away from religious education, Youngters negative habits like smokings, drugs etc.
Dr.Rajamani, i hope you can consider my suggestion with open mind and heart.Congratulation again to all the staff of Alaram
Thank you
Vishva
I used to watch alaram slots in vaanavil and find it very very interesting and useful program to our indian community in malaysia. The last program was aired on the eve of deepavali with a very suitable title “sontham” whereby the program discussed about the importance of relatives and family. The program was aired at the right time where all families get together to celebrate the festivals of light. The host did a good job in brainstorming the topic with the speakers but i feel that the speakers were too young to give the views. Nevertheless they did gave good points and did well handling the questions post except for one speaker by the name of saran. He was so immatured in his views and basically sat there talking negatively for the whole discussion session. His opinions seems to be so baseless and its more to his personal vengence towards some of his relatives and throughout the sessions his views showed how immatured and egoistic person he is when the other speakers gave a good conclusion about relationships. When the programme is aired they the speakers must gives views of pure quality and tacful. Therefore i hope that in future Dr.Annathurai or the program director will select matured speakers and don’t just handout the speakers role to immatured person like saran. A quality program like alaram needs fruitful and tactful discussions.

I am bare impressed with the article I have just read. I wish the author of http://www.malaysiamix.com can continue to provide so much practical information and unforgettable experience to http://www.malaysiamix.com readers. There is not much to state except the following universal truth: Things are always on the last place you look for them. I will be back.
JUST SUPERP. LOVE 2 WATCH ALARAM. GOOD LUK.
I have been watching ‘alaram’ on and off lately and yesterday’s program was a very good one and those who participated were well chosen, neat, well dressed and groomed and talked politly on their turn to do so.
But I remember watching a few weeks back where two male (from other Astro program) who were dressed like hippies and their hair style like punks.(also in in other Astro programs)If every youth were watching the program were to follow their look like style nobody will employ them especially where some Indian youths are already giving a bad name to our community and culture and looks like Astro is encouraging it.
