This is Rajhula we’re talking about!
Rajhula is an Indian/Tamil rock band from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The band was formed in 2008 with Brahma (Kashmir Stone) on drums, Ram (Suruthisutra) on guitars, Hari on bass and Jibrail as the lead singer. The band started off by playing hit covers from Tamil movies in a very creative way. Rajhula added elements of rock, metal, punk and a little bit of jazz and funk in to this song, and within a few months of practice, the band had already played several shows in clubs, bazaars, pubs, and gigs and was slowly getting recognized in the local Tamil music scene.
However by the end of 2008 the band went through a lineup change. Brahma left the band to continue his career and also concentrate on his full time band Kashmir Stone. Brahma was replaced by Jana, a drummer who had session for a few bands in the local independent music scene.
Rajhula is currently in the studio recording their singles which is due to be out somewhere in May 2009.To those of u who likes rock, metal or any sort of music…Its time to show that our Indian community can rock too!

During my interview with Brahma of Kashmir Stone, we met these guys and thats where we got introduced. Right from the beginning I have a passion for rock music and the idea which Rajhula came up with movie number in their way. Yeah, thats my flavor. Maybe some can’t accept it in the beginning but it would not be the same when the right band is playing the song. Well, Mr.Brahma assured that these guys can really play a good music especially track such as New York Nagaram from Jillunu Orru Kathal.
Here Malaysiamix is showing their support for Rajhula and the rock music industry in Malaysia. This made us different in our own way and finally wishing these guys to succeed in their attempt to initiate the debut single. Now, show some support and let the music journey continues.I gotta rock for once again…
